Jane Seymour -- Dancing with Food Poisoning!

121. I don't believe food poisoning kept Jane Seymour from appearing on DWTS . I believe it was Seymour's huge ego that kept her from showing up.
Seymour is an actress. What professional actress can't pretend to be sick ?
If Seymour really was ill, perhaps it had more to do with a need to cough up sour grapes, than anything else.
At least Marie Osmond had the guts to show up.

123. Although I think Jane is a beautiful fifty something year old woman, she should of been voted off last night. I believe Jane is not sick but didn't won't to be there when she got the boot. Sabrina is 100 times better dancer than Jane. What a raw deal Sabrina got. Hopefully when Jane's time comes to go she will show up and take her defeat gracefully.

125. I had food poisoning once and it came in a flash, I was at work lying on the floor puking my guts up. that would have been better then marie fainting.

127. Sabrina got booted because she is not an esthetically pleasing dancer. She is chunky and overdoes most of her moves...works with jive, etc., but she is not a great dancer. Jane is a great dancer, but lacks the punch of youth. Marie is just adorable and fun, so she is a crowd-pleaser. Mel is a good dancer and Jennie is a real surprise...lacks confidence, but has a lot of really great moves (better than Mel). As for the men, not one of them can compare to the real male dancers on the show. They are all fun, but Helio should win cuz he has the most style.......take it from me....an old dancer and ballerina....

I feel sorry for Dr. Quinn, the Medicine Woman and hope she is truly well. Looks can be very deceiving when it comes to food poisoning.

On Monday, October 8, my 83-year old parents and I ate at an upscale, trendy, national chain restaurant in Hickory, North Carolina. We fiished our salads about 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, at 1:30 a.m., my dad and I awoke sick. I was going off at both ends, he had diarrhea, which lasted until the following week. My mom got sick the next day.

To make the long story short, my mom spent 6 days in the hospital. My dad was there for 4. I should have been.

He's doing better. Today in Nov. 6 and my mom and I are still preferring bland food.

Tests indicated we got bit by a virus food borne illness. After testing for more than a dozen different bugs, doctors, the Catawba County Health Dept., along with the State lab, stopped the testing process because there are more than 100 different bugs.

So now, I'm asking restaurants, when I get my mashed potatoes and gravy, how they clean their lettuce. I encourage you to do the same and learn what rules and regs in your state govern the process. You'll be surprised. I have been.
